YOUR RESOURCE FOR EMPOWERING LEARNERS
MIT KOREA
MIT’s international education program, MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI), facilitates collaboration between its students and numerous universities, companies, and research institutes around the world. One of MISTI’s Country Programs is MIT Korea. MIT students are flown to Korea, where they provide innovative STEM-field workshops to middle school and high school students at Korea International School (KIS). KIS benefits from this exchange by having their students gain exposure to the concepts, skills, and practices needed for careers in STEM fields. MIT students get to experience a new culture, and a country that is rapidly expanding their influence in the science and technology community.
