Edcamps are events where educators get to vote and determine the sessions they want to attend. These sessions do not have presentations, but instead, it is a collaborative learning experience that is "spontaneous, interactive and responsive to everyone's needs." Anyone can suggest or lead a session, which personalizes every participant's professional development experience.

The following tool is a graphic organizer for any Edcamp session that focuses on the improvement of school experiences or solving problems in education by using the design thinking method. Participants get to vote on challenges and join other educators to develop a "prototype," an actionable plan, service or product, that they can leave with at the end of the session. Hopefully they can continue to develop their prototype and actually apply it to their classroom or school.
